ABLE STORAGE will never try to confuse you with self storage terminology or ask you to sign a rental agreement that hasn’t been thoroughly explained to you, to YOUR satisfaction, by a professional.
Beware of self storage facilities that advertise “On-site management” instead of “Resident Manager”. On site management means that at least one employee works on the self storage site where resident manager means that someone lives at the self storage site. At ABLE STORAGE, our managers live on the premises.
Beware of self storage facilities that deceivingly advertise “24 hour video surveillance” Despite court rulings that “24 hour surveillance” implies that someone is watching 24 hours a day, nearly all self storage facilities that advertise this don't have anyone watching at all, and employees that can only glance at the monitors occasionally during business hours. At ABLE STORAGE, we have 24 hour video recording cameras. Our cameras are recorded TWICE and hooked up to a wireless system giving our managers the ability to view the self storage property after hours, not just while in the office.
At ABLE STORAGE, we do not up-sell. We will only suggest to you what we think you really need. After all, we not only want your business, but your friends and family’s business too.

FAQ
How does self storage work?
California's technical term is "Self-Service Storage Facility". We provide the building. You exercise all care and control over your property, pursuant to the terms of the rental agreement. You monitor and maintain your own unit. You decide who has access to your property and you keep the key.
What if I forget my gate code?
NO PROBLEM! Just present present satisfactory evidence that you are the person that signed the rental agreement. We are unable to give the code to anyone else.
Who can enter my storage?
The person that signed the rental agreement may give their personal code and key to anyone they choose. Anyone who has been given the code and key by the original tenant, has implied consent to be on the property.
I forgot my friends code.What do I do?
You must contact the person that signed the rental agreement. As a self-service storage facility, it is up to the person that signed the rental agreement to control access to his/her unit, and to allow or deny access to that unit to anyone as they see fit.
I am getting divorced. What if my spouse wants access to the unit?
Your spouse can only access your unit if YOU give him/her the code and the key. Any person entering the gate without a tenant's consent is trespassing (signs are posted).
Can I pay my bill over the phone?
YES! You may pay your bill over the phone if you have previously filled out an authorization with us. If you haven't, we can fax or email one to you right away. If you don't have a fax, we will fax the form to wherever you are. We have faxed forms to office supply stores, mailbox and copy stores, hospital nurses stations, supermarkets, you name it. It is our policy to fax forms immediately upon request so you don't have to wait.
Can you auto-debit my account on my normal rental due date?
YES! You can elect to have your debit or credit card charged automatically on your normal rental due date if you have signed an authorization form allowing us to do so.
Can I change units at anytime without a fee?
Yes! We do not charge transfer fees. You may move up or down a size anytime.
I like to go away for the holidays. Can I really get my boat out on the 4th of July?
YES! You can access your property EVERY day, even Christmas! We have gotten several rentals because other self storage facilities lock their gate on the holidays. In fact, the office is actually OPEN on the 4th of July!
